Humor is load-bearing
A studio without laughter is one quietly failing. We hire for it, design for it, and protect it.
Humor isn’t decoration. It’s a signal that a team is honest enough to admit when something is silly, secure enough to be wrong out loud, and present enough to notice the absurd in the work.
We’ve worked in places where nobody laughed for months. The work was always bad. Not coincidentally bad — causally bad. Without humor, problems get quietly tolerated. People stop pointing at the obvious.
So we hire for it, we write for it, and we let it into the product where it fits.
What it doesn’t mean
Placeholder — clarify what we don’t mean. Not slack culture cosplay, not forced “fun”, not snark at users’ expense.
